Liz stayed at home and kept the business running while our son, Alex, and I took off for a few days to enjoy some father-son time.

Had a good sail to the Eastern end of Waiheke to Man o’war Bay for the night.

Tuesday we sailed around the bottom of Waiheke before heading toward Motutapu. The weather was all over the place with sunny spells one minute then showers and squalls the next. Not making much headway, we decided to motor the second half of the journey to Station Bay, Motutapu.

Wednesday morning began with heavy fog and no wind so we decided to motor to Islington Bay for a quick fish.
Only caught one snapper so headed home.
